Ordering
What is the minimum order?
Our minimum order is 100 units.
How much do custom air fresheners cost?
Pricing depends on your quantity, scent range and shape. The more you order, the lower the price per unit. Request a quote and we will send you a full breakdown.
Is there a setup fee?
A once off setup fee applies to smaller runs and is free on orders of 2,000+ units. Your quote will show it clearly.
How does the ordering process work?
You receive your formal quote or invoice. Once paid, we send a sign off sheet showing exactly how your artwork will look. You approve it or request changes before anything moves into production. During production we send Job Update Reports, and once packed your order is booked with The Courier Guy and you receive a tracking number.
How long will my order take?
For 100 units in our precut standard shapes, as little as 10 working days, subject to availability. For 1,000+ units, 15 working days from payment and artwork approval, often faster outside peak season.
Do you deliver across South Africa?
Yes. We ship anywhere in South Africa with The Courier Guy and send you a tracking number so you can watch your parcel move. We confirm everything has arrived correctly before closing out the job.
Can I resell your air fresheners?
Our air fresheners are made as promotional handouts, not as retail products for resale.
Scent and longevity
What is the difference between the Value and Designer scents?
The Value range is New Car, Eau de Cologne and Creamy Vanilla: bold and instantly noticeable. The Designer range is inspired by Drakkar Noir, Sauvage and Hugo Boss: subtler and more refined, and our premium option. Designer fragrances are our own blends inspired by these scents. The names are trademarks of their respective owners and we have no association with these brands.
How long does the scent last?
Only a few days. Think of our air fresheners as scented business cards: the fragrance is strongest when the packet is opened and fades over the first few days. Many customers keep the branded hanger up anyway and refresh it with a spray of car cologne, so your branding keeps working.
Does heat affect the fragrance?
Yes. Heat, moisture and direct sunlight speed up evaporation, so the scent lasts a little longer in winter than in the South African summer.
How should I store them before handing them out?
Each air freshener is individually heat sealed. Keep them sealed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, and use them within 3 to 4 months for the best fragrance. Once opened, the fragrance evaporates naturally.
Design and artwork
What shapes can I choose?
Seven standard shapes are free: Circle 70mm, Circle 60mm, Credit Card, Car, House, Taxi Bus and Truck. Any other outline can be cut as a custom shape. See shapes and die lines.
What artwork do you need for a mock up?
A high resolution PDF (300dpi or higher) or an editable vector file (CorelDRAW, Illustrator, Photoshop or InDesign). We cannot redraw a logo from a low resolution JPEG or PNG, such as one taken from a website. If that is all you have, send it and we will revert. We then email you a virtual mock up before you commit to anything.
How many colours can you print?
Up to two colours, printed on both sides. White counts as a colour because a special white ink is used.
Can I have a white background?
No. We use locally sourced 480gsm board that isn’t bright white, so white backgrounds aren’t offered. Light colours such as light blue or light green may also shift slightly because the fragrance oil is yellow.
Why is your board different from imported air fresheners?
We use board sourced in South Africa, which keeps promotional volumes affordable. It is thinner and less absorbent than imported board, which is why our air fresheners are made as promotional handouts rather than long life retail products.
